Space program

Space is underrated and unappreciated now days, however if the world is going to continue to grow then we have no other option but to expand beyond our worlds boundaries and not only explore the rest of our universe but begin to inhabit it as well.

Currently we spend around 18 billion on NASA. Below is my proposal.

The largest telescope in the world cost around 167 million to build, yet it has opening the universe up to us more then anything ever has, giving us insights into space that we could never have imagined. However it is still small only 10.4 meters across. I would suggest the building of a significantly larger telescope something that we could see much further beyond anything we ever have something closer to a 50 meter across telescope. With an estimated cost of 3 Billion dollars. We would spend this amount each and every year, first building the telescope and then each year following it up with additional telescopes, satellites,  research facilities and more.

The current space station cost us 150 billion to build, my proposal would be to expand the space station, and not something small, I want to expand the station to add plant life, artificial gravity and a construction bay (Its much cheaper to construct ships and components in space then to make them on earth and send them to space). My proposal would be to spend a full 150 billion each year on expanding the space station and as it is finished those funds will not only maintain the station and add to it as technology improves but will also be used to manufacture ships, satellites and other components in space.

Nasa would be in charge of deciding the actual spending of the funds, however with the agreement of funds Nasa will agree that no astronaut, worker or other employee will be paid more then 100,000 per year.

New government revenue

With all of the proposals below, our government will be sitting in a situation were poverty is eliminated completely, we will have the largest standing army in the world, the best defensive capabilities, free energy, large research communities and development, and a surplus of funds on federal, state and local levels across the board.

With the increase of surplus funds our national debt will be paid back in under 20 years, at which point we will have tons of funds open to begin opening new areas of the government to benefit its people even further.

In 20 years time we would be not only the most powerful nation, but the most technologically advanced nation and we will have eliminated poverty completely in our nation. Hopefully through our example we can encourage other nations to copy our systems and do the same helping to bring the whole earth to a higher level of living.

State & City Spending

It is not for the federal government to decide how states and cities spend their money, so I will not go into were I think they should spend it, instead I will give a breakdown of the amount of funds they receive with my tax system and the areas they can cut out because they are now covered by the federal government with my plan.

States currently receive a total combined revenue of 1.6 Trillion, under my tax system that would be lowered to 729 Billion. However states would no longer spend any money on health care, food, housing, welfare, or the education system.

Currently states spend 497.6 Billion on Health Care, 270.4 Billion on Education, 179.7 Billion on Welfare. By cutting those out states save 947.7 Billion each year. Currently States spend 1.15 Trillion each year, with my system that would be reduced to 202.3 Billion each year. And with my tax system that would mean that states would now have an additional 527 Billion each year to spend however they wish.

Local governments currently receive a total combined revenue of 1.1 Trillion, under my tax system that would be highered to 1.3 Trillion. However local government would no longer spend any money on health care, food, housing, welfare, or the education system.

Currently locals spend 133.8 Billion on Health Care, 517 Billion on Education, 98.7 Billion on Welfare. By cutting those out locals save 749.5 Billion each year. Currently locals spend 1.8 Trillion each year, with my system that would be reduced to 1050.5 Billion each year. And with my tax system that would mean that states would now have an additional 550 Billion each year to spend however they wish.

Federal Government Summary

Research

The Federal Government will maintain 50 Research facilities, one in each state. Each facility will be given 2 Billion per year in funding to spend as they see fit, no employee may be paid more then 80,000 per year. And no employee may receive gifts or bonus' of any sort. Facilities research everything so long as the research is believed to benefit the community and nation in the end, weapons research must be kept strictly to defensive weaponry and systems, nothing offensive. Research is shared between all facilities and no information is private or "top secret" All information is "open source" and may be accessed from outside the facilities and may be contributed to from outside sources.

Total cost per year of 100 Billion

Government positions

One of the biggest Issues I find with government positions right now is their payroll. It was meant to be an honor to serve the american people, and their wages were never to exceed the average american. We have gotten away from that and I would like to return. I propose a law that no individual working in a government position whether its FBI, president, police, supreme judge or anything else cannot make more then $100,000 per year. Bonus's cannot be given or received, and no government official is allowed to accept "gifts" of any sort while serving or campaigning.

I also would propose a change to our election process's. America's citizens have proven themselves to vote for the most popular person in their party, which means whatever republican spends the most money campaigning will typically be the one to receive the most votes. This has to change. Not only is it wrong and keeps americans misinformed it also causes the politician to accept money from companies in return for promises to try to pass bills or keep pressure off of them or other things.

I would propose that all government positions that are voted for cannot be campaigned for, instead every candidate every weekend is placed in a room were they are asked to explain their beliefs and their intentions for the country, and so forth. Each weekend they will be asked new questions and this will continue until the week of elections. No candidate is allowed to spend money to campaign whatsoever, and any candidate found spending money campaigning will lose their candidacy. They may maintain a website explaining themselves but cannot advertise it, it will be listed on a government site and that is all. This includes interviews or media outside of the normal weekend showings, anyone caught doing any of this is removed from the candidacy.

Absolutely no candidate can state a party affiliation, parties will be eliminated. This system allows citizens to vote for the person they honestly feel is the best person for the position. Each interview each week is available online for each candidate and NO media outlet is allowed to air the interviews or any portion thereof. Period.

Candidate videos will be listed in alphabetical order and each candidate will be asked the same questions in the same way as every other candidate.

With this system ANY citizen may run for any position whether they are poor, rich, old, young, experienced, inexperienced or whatever. Everyone has the chance to get he position so long as they receive the most votes.

This system plays for every position, and again Media outlets are not allowed to share opinions footage or anything in regards to candidates. Eliminate throwing stones, false stories, attacks, biasness or anything else. Winners of the candidacy are announced the day after the last votes are counted and only then may media outlets speak about the winner.

Maglev Transit

Currently our transportation systems rely mainly on vehicles, this is a major problem as it adds to congestion, ruins air quality and is not feasible for income levels. Nor is it very fast with top highway speeds in the nation of around 80mph.

With my new program we would be buildings brand new maglev transit systems. Maglev systems are a relatively inexpensive system to build and use less power then current systems and cost almost nothing to maintain, they also run without employees needed, are fully automated AND average a speed of 300mph and higher.

With my proposal we would begin installing maglev transportation between every city and state in the nation. Maglevs cost roughly $5 million per train per mile to build. But since electricity would be free they would cost almost nothing to maintain or operate. Therefore the system will be completely free to use for every individual.

With my proposal we would install 2 Maglev train systems in a 3000 mile long system each for personal use each year, a total cost of 30 billion. This could mean 2 trains running seperate tracks the length of the united states, or it could mean 100 60 mile long tracks and trains, or whatever is needed. Each year we would put in new systems, and eventually every single city, town and state would be connected no matter what size they may be. With this system an individual could board a maglev train in los angelos california and get off in new york, new york 9 hours later and free of charge.

Along side the above proposal we would also put in identical tracks and trains in the same areas for commercial use only. These systems would cost us 30 billion to install but would not be free of charge to use, these systems would 7 cents a mile to transport commercial goods, this rate is lower than any transportation in use today and the system would also be faster then any other transportation in use today, this would help reduce costs for business's, speed up delivery time frames, and in turn increase their profits and reduce the consumers costs of using or purchasing their products and services. This would also create an additional source of income for the federal government.

Currently there are roughly 3.5 Million Truck drivers who drive and average of 130,000 miles per year. Truck drivers are only one small part of the transportation services commercial companies use, they also utilize trains, planes, boats and more. However by using only the miles driven by truck drivers each year the commercial maglev system will bring in roughly 31.85 Billion per year. Which pays for the maglev installations each year. It may bring in more or less funds but the idea is to increase the standard of living and the speed in which business's can operate as well as reduce costs to lower end user costs as well.

Eventually with cooperation with other nations we could take our maglev systems to other nations, allowing you to get to europe for free or any other nation. With this system even the poorest individual could visit family or get a job in another city even if they had no car or money for gas or anything else. Maglev systems would be installed on larger scales such as city to city as wells as smaller systems that are simply maintained within one zipcode, eventually eliminating the need for automobiles completely.

And since the installations are simply a few areas each year and will take time to cover the entire country it will give time for employees of current transportation companies to retrain or move to other employment.

Community Devolpment

There are many areas of the nation that have lower population counts or smaller business or whatever, but results in lower income for the area and therefore less funds for the city to better the community. With my system the federal government would give 1 million dollars each year to each zip code to spend only for community development. This could be new parks, better roads, better lights, sidewalks or whatnot. It could be spent on planting trees, building ranger stations and camp grounds or similar. The funds will be given to each community ONLY after they have submitted a detailed plan that lines out exactly were and how those funds will be spent and MUST be voted on and agreed to by the population of that zip code.

This totals 41.81 Billion per year.

Poverty Elimination

Currently we maintain a ludicrous welfare system that encourages individuals to remain poor to be able to keep getting government help. This needs to be eliminated, there is no problem with everyone getting something from the government so long as that system is not tied to what occurs in their life such as income or other life choices.

I suggest the following fixes.

Each individual will be given $150 per month for a home, this does not go away for any reason, so long as they are a citizen then they get the money, however the funds are not given directly to the person, the funds are paid out only to a registered mortgage or rental company, an individual may only have 1 company be paid each month and only UP to $150 per month. These funds are provided for everyone including new borns, however anyone under the age of 18 those funds are directed and used by their guardians. So a family of 6 would be provided with a total of $900 per month to pay for a home.

This program is not mean to help the individual or family to live in luxury but should allow them to have a nice place to stay. Obviously a single person will not find a nice place for $150 a month but should they choose to get roommates they could easily maintain a nice apartment with those funds.

Along with this program there will be a new law fining anyone who is homeless with the exception of anyone who does pass a psychological exam. Anyone who does not pass the exam would be admitted to a care center, the same would go for any elderly individual who could not care for themselves. At that point their funds are paid to the care center.

With the renewable energy plan the homes would also have free electricity and therefore they would have heat, air, light and all the necessities in that regards.

The second main fix, is providing food, every individual will be given $100 per month for food, these funds are given to the individual in a way similar to the current food stamp program, were the funds are placed on a debit card and can be spent anywhere but only on food products, cash can never be received. Again, anyone under 18 years of age receive the benefits also but the funds are put on the caregivers card. A family of 6 would receive $600 a month for food. Again this is not to allow the person to live luxuriously but to maintain a higher level of living and to eliminate poverty.

With the above programs, the energy program and the medical program every single individual in the country that is a legal citizen would have a home, food, electricity, and medical care for free, raising the standard of living in the nation to a significantly higher level.

Again these funds are given to everyone, whether your 2 years old or 100 years old, whether you make $10k a year or 1 billion a year. There is no restrictions.

The cost of the program would be roughly 300 billion per year for food, 540 billion per year for housing.

A Nation Protected

Our nation needs to get out of other nations business, we need to help ourselves reach a better quality of nation first and let individuals and private companies perform charity for other nations. We will assist other nations ONLY with a small handful of personal to instruct them on how to model their systems after our own but no financial defense or other help shall be given.

Because of such we will pull our armed forces out of every other nation completely, and instead we will return them all stateside and the defense budget will be spent for just that, defense, not offense, our budget will be spent entirely on increase our stateside defense from biological, chemical, nuclear and other threats. We will double or even triple our missile automated defense systems and increase our forces but will no longer spend funds on foreign intervention or enforcement.

Our armed forces will be split between 2 main groupings, active army and standing army. Active army personal receive a paycheck and put in full 8 hour+ days each day of the week but remain stateside. Standing army consists of every able bodied individual in the country. Details below.

Standing army Defense

Upon turning 18 years of age AND completing their entire K-12 Education a citizen will be required to become a member of the standing army. Each individual will take a pycological profile test, so long as they pass the test then they are required to join. They will immediately take 3 months of marine boot camp training, afterwards they will be issued a Military rifle and handgun and 1000 rounds of ammunition for both. They will be required to keep the rifle or handgun within 500 feet of them at all times, they will be required to maintain 100 rounds of ammunition for both their weapons in their homes at all times.

Every 3 months they will report for 2 days of training to keep their skills honed and up to date with the newest technology and knowledge. Every 4 years they will go back and take an additional psycological profile test and if passed they will continue in the standing army and immediately take another 3 more months of boot camp, helping to further their knowledge and expertise.

Standing army CANNOT be called on to fight any war or battle that IS not being fought within the countries borders. All standing army individuals may also refuse to leave to any battle that is not within 50 miles of their residence should they choose to.

Active armed forces will be paid according to their rank but the minimum salary is $36,000 per year and a maximum salary of $70,000 per year. Active army will be capped at .5% of the population or currently roughly 1.5 Million. Therefore it will be reduced from its current numbers. Active army is a job, and therefore a volunteer basis. Standing army is required and will not receive compensation.

Employers are required to be informed about when their employees will be leaving for training/boot camp and CANNOT fire or let go of any employee during or because of their training/boot camp.

Active army budget will be set at 105 Billion per year, This is spent solely on outfitting as well as salaries for active army.

Standing army budget will be set at 150 Billion per year, This budget is spent solely on training and outfitting the standing army. Active army is in charge of training the standing army.

The Military Defense budget will be set at $100 Billion per year. As mentioned before we are no longer going to step into other nations, therefore this money will be used purely to increase our defensive capabilities through whatever means that may be.

New School System

Our school system needs some serious upgrades and changes to just about every aspect of it. Currently we have 49.3 million Public School K through 12 students in the US below is my proposed education system.

There is an average of 1180 Students per zipcode, I would like classrooms cut down to a standard size of 14 students per classroom. This makes it roughly 85 Teachers per zip code. A Total of 3.5 Million Teachers

Each classroom will be 450sqft in size, (30 foot by 15 foot)

Teachers will be paid $50,000 per year, period. It does not matter what city, state or whatever, they all get paid a flat $50,000. HOWEVER all teachers will have $20,000 taken off of their school loans each year that they complete a full school year of teaching, payments are also deferred while teaching. This helps encourage teachers back to being there for the children, and gets rid of some of the stress current teachers face with school loans. This also helps equalize the economy across the nation. A Total of 175 Billion in salaries for teachers per year.

Each school will maintain a maximum of 394 students, therefore there will be a total average of 3 schools per zip code. A total of 125,430 Total Schools

Each teacher will be given a brand new $1000 Laptop each and every year, helping teachers to stay up to date.

Each student will be given a Tablet each and every year, Backpacks are not allowed, nor will there be any lockers, all books are digital. Tablets will be purchased at $300 a piece, but of course with such a large bulk purchase each year we should have no problem getting tablets worth significantly more from the manufacturers.

Each school will be given $1000 per year per student enrolled to be spent on material used for each student specifically.

The school will spend a total of $50 per student per year for Digital books, whatever publisher agrees to supply all the books at that price gets the contract.

Lunch will be provided free of charge to every student, and the quality will increase, the total amount spent will equal $2 per meal per student. Meals will be provided with only 2 options, one normal meal and one organic vegan meal, no other options will be given. Students are not allowed to bring outside food, however if a student has a specific diet because of health concerns and one of the above meals does not meet those needs then the chefs will prepare a separate meal of the chefs choosing for that student each day.

All schools will maintain uniforms, all schools will wear the same uniforms as well except for the logos embroidered on the shirts, those will be custom for the school logo. Uniforms will differ only between school levels not cities/states and so forth. $50 per uniform will be spent, each student will be given 6 uniforms per year.

Each school will maintain 4 Salary Janitors, being paid a salary of $40,000 per year.
Each school will maintain 2 Repair men and 2 IT Specialist being paid a salary of $60,000 per year
Each school will maintain 4 Private security personal, they will be fully armed and WILL NOT be in uniforms. they will be paid $60,000 per year
Each school will maintain 2 RN's paid at $50,000 per year
Each school will maintain 8 administrative personal paid at $50,000 per year no matter what their title is.
Each school will have 8 chefs to prepare lunch, paid at $25,000 per year. Chefs only prepare and make the one meal, therefore they are paid less because they can also maintain jobs at restaurants at night or the afternoon or breakfast time.
Each highschool will maintain 6 Professors paid $90,000 per year
Each average zip code will maintain 7 School bus drivers paid $40,000 per year

Each school will be given $1,000,000 each year for additional equipment, supplies, upgrades or whatever. Each year 1 month before school begins the teachers will meet to decide on were the money goes, each teach gets one vote, (administrators do not get to vote or even be present). If any idea receives at least 60% of the votes then that idea goes forward otherwise if no idea can reach the 60% mark then the money is split evenly between each and every teacher to choose to spend it as they please for their class's. Any money leftover at the end of the year will be put back together and the administrators will then decide on where the remainder is spent. No money ever goes back to the government, so there is never a need for teachers to "spend it or lose it".

Classes are arranged differently. Each student no matter the grade will have a total of 14 classes. Each day will consist of seven 45 Minute classes, and one 1 hour lunch period. Classes will rotate between "A" Days and "B" Days. Students will not pick there classes. Every student will take the same 14 classes, Terms will last 3 months, a school year will consist of 3 terms. Every term the classes switch out for new ones. A total of 42 classes will be taken each school year by each student.

Each term students are assigned to a "Group" of 14 students, this group has a designated classroom that is theirs for one whole term, students do not move between classes, instead each hour they are given 5 minutes to get up and move around the classroom while the teach leaves and the new one arrives. Students never leave the classrooms except to go the bathroom and for lunch breaks.

Grades 9 through 12 the classes are ALL College accredited classes, this makes it so that not only does the student graduate with a highschool diploma but they graduate with a Bachelors degree in General education. However although they are accredited classes, the students still cannot choose their classes therefore all students graduate with the same degree. HOWEVER each school will also offer additional classes after the regular classes each day that are in other fields that will allow a student to specialize in a specific field so that they have the option to graduate with a different bachelors degree if chosen. Not every degree is offered, but there will be additional options. Schools maintain 6 professors, each from a different degree program, that will allow the school to offer extra classes from 6 different fields to allow students the option to graduate with specialty degrees. These classes are not required of a student, but if they choose to take them they can do so to help further their education and alter their degree.

School classrooms will not use white boards or chalk boards, instead they will use interactive lcd screens, that are streamed to the tablets in the classrooms. This allows each student to see what the teacher is teaching up close. ALSO each stream is recorded to the students tablet including the voice recording, this allows the student to review the class later when doing homework should they need to.

Teachers are all expected to remain in school for an additional hour each day at the end of the day to allow students who need extra teaching/tutoring to come in after and get help. Tutoring/Teaching is offered to ANY student, even from another school, so if a student from a higher grade needs a refresher they can go to the lower grade school teacher and do just that.

Elementary schools start at 9am and get out at 4:15pm, Middle school starts at 8pm and gets out at 3:15pm, Highschool starts at 7am and gets out at 2:15pm.

School bus drivers pick up and drop off kids from all three schools, giving them 1 hour between each pickup/dropoff to get all the kids to were they need to be. Drivers drive 6 hours a day roughly and are expected to put in an additional 2 hours a day in cleaning, repairing and maintaining the buses.

Elementary schools will no longer have recess, instead they will have classes that are taught outside, such as physical education that may focus on soccer, basketball, or even the jungle gym. As students get older physical education focus's on better fitness routines then simply playing on a jungle gym or playing games.

With the above system students safety would be significantly risen, grades would rise, bullying would be reduced or even eliminated completely, and every school would be given the same treatment as any other therefore increasing the overall well being and success rates of the students. It would also guarantee a college accredited degree for every student, therefore significantly increasing the employ ability of students.

The total cost of the program would be roughly $637.74 Billion per year, an increase of 129.74 billion more then we are currently spending on the education system. HOWEVER this would be covered by the federal government in its entirety thus significantly freeing up money from each state/city for other uses.

Free energy Proposal

Energy, something we all need

to build enough solar & wind farms in the United States to produce enough electricity for everyone to receive it will cost the nation 3.9 Trillion dollars. If the previous mentioned plans were put into effect, then the nation could use 200 Billion of its annual savings to invest in Solar and Wind farms. Each year we would be able to build enough farms to produce energy for a 20th of the nation, or a total of 2092 zip codes each year will be able to be taken completely "off grid" and will be provided with free renewable energy.

After 20 years, we will have brought 100% of the nation off grid.

Power will be provided completely for free to everyone in the nation. Eventually this will lead to being completely 100% off of coal, gas, oil and other nonrenewable resources.

National Medical Program

In conjunction with my tax proposition layout the medicare/medicaid programs will be eliminated. To replace them we will be inputting a national medical program. Below are the outlines.

There is roughly 313.2 Billion People in the US.

The average doctor will work 10 hour days, will see an average of 20 patients per day, and work 260 days per year. They will be able to see an average of 5200 Patients per year.

There is 41,810 US Zip codes, this is a combined number of all zip codes, including general, po box, military, unique and business zip codes. The Average population per zip code is 7473

If we estimate that every american will need/want to visit a general practitioner, dentist, eye doctor, chiropractor, and one specialist once each year then this means that we would need to supply 2 general practitioners, 2 dentists, 2 eye doctors, 2 chiropractors and 2 specialist in various fields per zip code, a total of 10 doctors. per zip code, and a overall total of 418,100 Total Doctors. Since 2 professionals could handle 10,200 patients per year, and only 7,473 patients per zip code, this will allow for additional visits per patient, or additional time needed to see them, helping to increase the care each patient receives.

Yearly Salaries for doctors are listed below

General Practitioner - 60,000
Dentist - 80,000
Eye Doctor - 40,000
Chiropractor - 80,000
Specialist - 100,000

This equates to a total professional salary expense per facility of 720,000, and an overall US cost of 30.1 Billion.

The federal government will have a special fund created to pay for all medical school bills, this will be similar to our current financial aid program. With an average cost of $120,000 for a 4 year medical program this will equate to 50.2 Billion. This funding does NOT need to be repaid, however to get the funding you must sign a contract to work for the above salaries in a national medical facility for a minimum of 6 years. Once four years if over you may move on if you so choose. If you quit working, get fired, fail school classes, or any other matter in relation to this you will be required to pay the funds back in their entirety minus $20,000 per year that was worked in a national medical facility. Professionals will take typically 4 years of undergraduate programs before entering into a medical program, this portion as well as any further continuation of their degrees would need to be covered by themselves.(however this is under the assumption that 418,100 new professional students will begin schooling every year, therefore the actual numbers may be significantly less depending on the actual number of new students each year)

We would need to build a national medical facility to house each of the professionals, one building per zip code will be built, each of the 10 professionals will work in the same building. 3 waiting rooms per professional will be provided plus an office, for a total of 40 rooms. 100 square feet will be provided for each room, plus an additional 1500 square feet for a waiting area, and another 1500 square feet for hallways, storage rooms etc. there will be 15 Rooms set aside for procedures, and another 15 set aside for specialty operations. Each room will be 100sqft. This equates to a total facility size of 10,000sqft. At the average cost for building hospital facilities in the US at $336 per square foot, each facility will cost roughly 3.4 Million to construct. The overall cost of construction for all facilities will equate to $142.1 Billion.

Each facility would need to be stocked with equipment, each facility would be given 4 million during the initial build to stock the facility with needed supplies and equipment. This would equate to an initial cost of $167.2

Each facility would need to be supplied with with 2 nurses(RN's) per professional, they will assist the professionals in paperwork, procedures and other matters (20 per facility). A total nurse count of 836,200 They will be given a salary of $35,000. a total overall cost of 29.2 Billion per year.

Nurses will be offered a tuition program similar to professionals but with a funding of $60,000, approximately 2 years of school. Again they will be offered these funds under a contract that they will work for at least 6 years in a national facility, If you quit working, get fired, fail school classes, or any other matter in relation to this you will be required to pay the funds back in their entirety minus $10,000 per year that was worked in a national medical facility This equates to 50.2 Billion a year. (however this is under the assumption that 836,200 new nursing students will begin schooling every year, therefore the actual numbers may be significantly less depending on the actual number of new students each year)

Each facility would need to be supplied with with 2 other various workers per professional, they will assist the professionals in paperwork, procedures, janitorial work and other matters (20 per facility). A total worker count of 836,200 They will be given a salary of $35,000. a total overall cost of 29.2 Billion per year.

An assumed operating and maintenance cost per national facility of 50,000 per year, and an overall cost of 2.1 Billion per year for all facilities.

Currently we use between 5 million to 50 million pints of blood per year in the US for Transfusions. To help encourage donations of blood to keep our blood banks full and each facility stocked with their own supply, each facility will offer $40 per donation of 1 pint of usable blood. This equates to an additional 2 Billion per year.

An average estimate of $175 per american per year will be used to estimate supply usage such as bandages, sutures, prescriptions, glasses etc. Expenses beyond this number must be paid for by the consumer, these will be charged at cost, not marked up.

Totaling these numbers shows that we will need roughly 247.9 Billion per year to provide these services, and an additional 309.3 Billion to build the facilities, but this is a one time expenditure.

All visits are free of charge, it does not matter if you are a US resident, or not, all medical visits are covered, all supplies are covered up to $175 per year, all additional supplies are charged to the consumer at cost. There is no cost for any procedure that does not use supplies, nor is there any cost for blood as it is supplied through the donation/payout program. Any and all procedures are given freely so long as the facility has the ability to provide the procedure.

The facilities would only be open Monday through Friday from about 9am to 6pm. So the need for private hospitals and private practices would still exist.

Tax Proposition

Please keep in mind while reading this that the math at the end is off some as not all my programs were written out completely at the time of making this.

The countries tax system is screwed up, its biased, unfair, complicated and downright unproductive. It creates criminals were criminals should not exist and complicates matters when there should never be complications. It entices political pushes, changes, and bribery, should I go on?

In 2012, the federal government had a total Tax Revenue of just under 2.5 Trillion Dollars. $1.4 Trillion in Income Taxes, .8 Trillion in Social Security Taxes, .1 Trillion from Ad Valorem taxes and .1 Trillion in Business and other Revenue. The total revenue between Federal, State, and local taxes from all sources was just under $5.1 Trillion

The average person in america spends just under $50,000 a year, remember this is an average, so some spend far less, while some spend ten thousand times that amount. According to the US Census in 2012, the US had a population of 312.8 million people. This equates to a total spending per year of $15,640,000,000,000.00, or $15.6 Trillion Dollars. According to the IRS and other government entities, the GDP or gross domestic product for 2012 was $15.1 Trillion Dollars. Therefore the estimates on spending per person is very very close to reality.

As of 2012, the government takes 15.3 percent out of every paycheck no matter how rich or poor you are for social security taxes (this includes Medicare). Federal Tax for 2012 ranged from 10% to 35%. Which means If you made a $1,000 paycheck you would lose $153 to social security and medicare no matter how rich or poor you are, and then lose another $100 to $350 depending on how rich or poor you were. Which means the average american that brings home a $1,000 paycheck will actually only get to see between $497 to $747 of the original money. Or in percentage every american pays income taxes between 25.3 percent to 50.3 percent of every check. On top of that, you have to pay sales tax and fees at every location you spend your money, ranging anywhere from around %5 to %12, making you lose another large chunk out of your paycheck. In the end, every american, no matter how rich will lose anywhere from 28% to 63% of their paychecks. And yet even with such a massive amount of our payroll being taken in just income taxes we still manage to spend $15.1 Trillion every year.

Unfortunately many business, and other entities get away with paying little to no taxes because they will spend the funds during the year on so called "expenses" to get around having to pay any taxes on the funds at the end of the year.

The goal with this posting is to layout a more effective measure for collecting taxes and at the same time allow the american people to retain more of their hard earned money.

My method for taxes is very very simple and not only lowers taxes for every american, but it will actually increase the total taxes taken in for federal, state, and local governments.

The plan is very simple, Income tax, estate tax, sales tax, and all other taxes are eliminated completely. the only tax that will remain is business revenue Tax. Business pay 29% of gross sales paid to the federal, state, and local tax agencies on a monthly basis.

Tax revenue will be distributed according to the following chart.

Federal Sales Tax 64%
State Sales Tax 12%
Local Sales Tax 24%

This allows the majority of all americans to retain all their money and therefore spend more, the average american would now have 28% or more in income compared to what they have now. This would result in the GDP raising significantly because of the additional funds available to the public workforce, equating in an average increase in national GDP of 16.5% or an additional $2.5 Trillion spent each year at a minimum.

With this method, Federal tax revenue would equate to 3.28 Trillion, state at 729 Billion, and local at 1.3 Trillion. Compared to the current numbers, it shows increase in federal tax revenue and local tax revenue and a decrease in state revenue.

HOWEVER.

There are countless departments within the Federal, state, and local levels designed for regulated, collecting, and enforcing tax regulations, rules and laws. The IRS department of the federal goverment cost $12.4 Billion to operate in 2012 alone, not including any other tax departments between the different levels of government.

By eliminating income tax and other taxes and relying solely on sales tax, we can eliminated every single one of these departments and rely only on the individual state tax commissions to collect quarterly sales tax payments from each business. This would save tens of billions of dollars every year in expenses between each level, and would even allow the state levels to cut their tax departments down to only their sales tax portions of the department.

Enforcement would only need to made against business's not filing and paying their quarterly sales tax and no enforcement would ever need to be performed towards individuals, eliminating the creation of criminals, tax fraud, and all other costs involved with enforcement. Allowing law enforcement to focus on more pressing matters that truly effect society.

With having additional money to spend the overall welfare of the average american would increase, they would eat better, live better, and overall enjoy life better. And business's would no longer be able to avoid taxes, however in this method, the taxes are paid by the consumer not the business, allowing the business's to focus more on growth, it would eliminate their need to worry about tax's, and would significantly reduce the costs the companies incur in keeping track of and paying income tax.

Another issue facing america has always been the increase of internet sales and the lack of any of these sales being taxes. With a flat sales tax across the board, this would enable all sales, whether in person, or through the phone or internet to be taxed, increasing the overall amount of tax collecting even further.

This method also eliminates any arguments about who should pay more or less in taxes, with everyone paying the same percentage of sales tax, the amount you pay each year will be based on the amount you spend, therefore the more money you make and spend the more taxes you pay, making it so that top 1% will pay far more taxes then all the 99% combined.

With the increase in taxes, and the changes, there will need to be many additional changes to government to reduce spending and pay off the national debt. Which at the end of 2012 was roughly 16 trillion dollars.

Currently The government spends $793.2 Billion each year on Pensions (Social Security Primarily), another $882 Billion a year on Health Care (Medicare and Medicaid primarily). 129.8 Billion on Education, 964.8 billion on Defense, 495.6 Billion on Welfare, 60.7 Billion Protection (Police, Fire etc), 94.5 Billion on Transportation, 33.2 billion on General government (IRS and other government employees and organizations), and 158.4 Billion on other spending (Housing development, agriculture, forestry  community development, water supply etc). and we pay out 206.7 Billion in interest payments on our national debt.

This all equates to $3.8 Trillion a year in expenses, roughly 1.3 Trillion more a year then the federal government is currently bringing in.

With the new sales tax structure, that tax gap would be brought down from 1.3 Trillion to 1.2 trillion, Although this does not bring it positive yet, it does make a great step towards independence of the debt.

So with the new sales tax system we would need to eliminate another 1.2 Trillion (1,200 billion) Dollars a year in government expenses. Eliminating the IRS would bring that number down 12.4 Billion to 1,187.6 Billion.

There are several areas the federal government is putting money into that needs to left to state levels, or even the private sector, Transportation is one of those. Obviously the federal highways need to be maintained, states do not need to maintain them nor should they. But all transportation grants and other expenses should be eliminated, every one. This eliminates another 27 billion a year from expenses. bringing the number to $1160.6 billion. Air transportation needs to be handed over to the private sector, all security, maintenance and other costs involved need to be handled and paid by the private sector. This would eliminate another 21.6 Billion from expenses. bringing the number to $1139

Mortgage Credit should be eliminated  and community development should be handled by the individual states and private sector. This frees up another 46.7 Billion bringing the number down to $1092.3 billion.

Foreign Military Aid should be eliminated completely and Foreign Economic Aid should be moved to the private sector. This saves an additional 55.2 Billion bringing the number to  $1037.1 Billion.

The DODs budget should be reduced from $739.7 Billion to $350 Billion, lowering the number to $647.4 Billion. For comparison, the DOD spent only $287 Billion in 2001. We have more then doubled, nearly trippled our defense budget in the last 12 years. We will need to cut that back, I would propose $350 billion, this is nearly a $70 million increase over 2001 or 25% increase. More then enough to constitute larger defense projects.

Medicaid/medicare needs to be eliminated, medicaid/medicare will be eliminated for a national medical program outlined in a future post. Public health services such as CPSC, OSHA, FDA, FSIS will remain but do need reform. Health R&D will me moved solely to the private sector. These changes will eliminate 877.5 Billion a year. However there will be costs involved in creating a national medical program, which will be outlined in my other post. However those costs will equate to roughly 216 Billion per year. Bringing the total to a net profit per year of $14.1 Billion

135.9 Billion is being paid out through income tax returns for people with no tax liability or claim additional credits. This would be eliminated completely since there would no longer be any tax obligations besides sales tax. Bringing the number to $150 Billion per year in profit.

Social Security payouts equates to $793.2 Billion of the federal budget. Social Security would be eliminated since there is no longer any tax income. Instead a new program will be designed to support our old and disabled, this is outlined in another post. But the average cost per year will sit just around $608 Billion. Which brings our number to being positive $335.2 Billion per year.

Welfare payments for housing assistance, TANF payments, unemployment, and others equates to 495.6 Billion per year. This will be transferred to the state level and eliminated from the federal budget. Bringing the net profit per year to 830.8 Billion.

At this point we will be able to spend 750 Billion per year towards paying off our national debt. The other 80.8 Billion would be saved for future emergencies and unforeseen expenses. Adding the750 billion to the 206.7 billion we already pay each year towards the national debt, we will be able to have the national debt paid in full in roughly 21 years. At which point we will then have an annual net profit (savings) of just under 1.1 Trillion per year. Enabling us to save half for emergencies and unforeseen expenses and use the other 550 billion to increase expenses in other areas IF needed.

Abortions

This post is about facts, plain and simple, not judgements, emotions, or opinions. The post makes a very straightforward, very specific fact.

IF you have an abortion, then it is a fact, that you are now the mother of a dead baby, AND if you gave consent for the abortion then you are also the killer of that baby (as are those performing the procedure). This is fact, not opinion, no emotions, and no judgement, just fact. That is all I meant by the post and all it means.

I have stated many times before, in this post and in others, that I am against abortion, BUT some circumstances still call for it, such as rape, incest or health concerns, none of these reasons are 100% ok for an abortion but they are the only reasons in which an abortion may be considered ok, It is not for me to decide if the choice of getting an abortion was a good choice or a bad one, so long as it is for one of those reasons. That is left for god to decide, not me.

But for any other reason besides those, it is wrong, the killing of a child is a very very serious matter, and should not be done unless it is absolutely necessary. But even when it is unavoidable and has to be done, it is still a very sad, very horrible thing. However, just because you have had to make that decision does not mean that you did the wrong thing, or are a horrible person yourself, only the loss of the child is the horrible matter. As LDS people, we understand and are taught that we will get the chance to raise that child again, whether it be now or in the millennium.

That is a huge blessing, if someone had to give up their child to stay alive or sane, then it is sad, I cannot imagine the pain and suffering someone would go through knowing that they had no choice but to kill their own child, born or unborn. But at least we can know that even if that situation occurs we will be given the chance to raise that child again in the future, so although it hurts it can at least hurt a little bit less.

I have never judged anyone for their decisions, I am friends with people from all walks of life, people that have made countless decisions that I do not condone, but I still love each and every one of them, and I treat them personally with kindness, charity and love. But just because I love them, and support them in life, does not mean that I have to agree with their actions or support their individual actions, nor will I ever do so if it contradicts my own standards or beliefs.

______________________________________________

I am a christian, a member of the LDS Church, and a priesthood holder, I have the duty and Obligation to spread the word of the lord and bring people to repentance. That includes telling people what actions they are taking are wrong in the eyes of the lord, it is not my duty or my right to tell the person that they themselves are bad, only that their actions may be bad.

I am very sick and tired of everyone telling me that I have no right to tell someone they have done wrong, that I must idly sit by and what them perform evil, unjust, or simply wrong actions and not say my peace. THIS IS WRONG.

Christ himself DID NOT sit idly by while people sinned around him, he told people of their sins, and not always in a kind voice either, he got angry at them, he flipped tables and yelled and screamed at the sinful. But he always forgave them for their actions if they seeked for it.

I will never sit idly by and watch people make decisions that are against the word of the lord. I will always spread his gospel, and I will always help those on the wrong path move towards the right one. I will express what people do wrong, and I point out what needs to be changed, because I have the duty and responsibility to do so.

But I will never judge a person for their actions, I do not know nor may I ever truly understand what has brought them to the point in their lives to make those decisions, so I have no right to say they are going to hell, or heaven, or that they are bad or good people.

BUT I have been given the right, obligation and guidance to know what actions are wrong and to point out to those that are making them that they are wrong.
